Sharing what I learned every day

Everything will fade away, but your writing will last.

Yes, you can build apps, start a business, or make millions of dollars. But they all will be gone one day. But if you share your stories, lessons learned, thoughts, or whatever. They will last forever and you will never know when they will make a positive impact on someone.

A plan is nothing, but planning is everything.

“If you failed to plan, you are planning to fail” Benjamin

But plans never go as planned. Isn’t that a paradox?

Not really, the value of planning is for you to think and visualize how to get from where you are to where you want to be. And breaking down the process into bite-size, more manageable milestones.

Because planning is projecting into the future, things don’t always happen as you assumed.

But because you have already thought through the process, it is much easier to modify your plan to circumvent obstacles to reach your goals.

We are people of privilege, and we have an obligation to do all the good that we can.

If you have access to this story, you are educated and living comfortably, compared to 99% of the population in the world.

Which means you have the resources, and obligation to help the rest of the world.

Don’t get caught up in living a me-centered, happiness-chasing world. You will never be satisfied.

Ask yourself, what can I do today to make this world a better place?

Sounds too cheesy?

Try it yourself and find out. Smile to a stranger. Open the door for someone. Give a few dollars to the person holding up the sign by the traffic light. Share your thoughts and the lessons learned online.

I guarantee it will make your day better.
